at 2:37 am today, my car got towed. Very frustrating walking outside and not seeing it parked where I left it and knowing immediately that it was gone. my hands shaking and the formation of a headache that stayed the rest of the day. I went and got it at 1 pm, almost 12 hours since it was forcibly removed.
The tow yard: cramped, dusty, hot. It was nice to see the innards and guts of cars strung about in heaps and piles. 50 naked engines, 30 car doors rusting against each other, front fenders, crushed headlights. So many pieces but no whole. numbers that add up to nothing.
me and my car, rolling away between the beginning of trucks with no ends, like sentry to a strange nursing home for the abused, broken, forgotten.
headache still here. indie films and liquor.
